Q&A is Now Read Only (Posted 6/11/2009)
The Q&A is back online, although as a searchable, read only FAQ. Recent edits now also assure that no matter how sneaky you may think you are at inserting new information - no new questions can be asked at this time.
The Nightcrawler Q&A has been temporarily taken offline. I no longer have the time nor desire to answer all the questions that are posted to it.
It may reappear on the site some day, or it may not. It may come back heavily edited as a read only FAQ… I just don’t know. But I do know, for certain, that I am done dealing with it in its previous form.
I have removed the ad network advertising from BAMF! If you wish to support the continued efforts of BAMF! to provide free, quality Nightcrawler information & content, you can donate via PayPal (see the column to your left), hire me to design you a website, or purchase some of my homemade soap. Thank you for visiting & I hope you find something that you enjoy!
I have set my banner ads to NOT display any pop-up ads, but yet every time I visit my own website I get a bazillion pop-ups. (So I’m sure you all do to!)
As a result, I am slowly, but surely, removing the advertising from this site.
Bleh, ads plastered all over every where suck anyway…
This weekend at WonderCon 2009 in San Francisco, Marvel Comics announced the launch of Uncanny X-Men: First Class. Written by Scott Gray with artwork provided by Roger Cruz, the next generation of students begin their journey at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.
The series kicks off just after the X-Men get back from their M’Kraan Crystal adventure shown in Uncanny #107-#108. The books team will feature Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Banshee, and Phoenix!
I’m VERY excited about this series, it features a very solid team wqith some of my favorite characters. I can’t wait to see Banshee and Pheonix in action again! I’ll post pictures ASAP.
X-MEN: QUITTING TIME
Written by JAMES ASMUS
Penciled by TBD
Cover by BRANDON PETERSON
Since the move to San Francisco and after the events of X-Infernus, Nightcrawler realizes a hard truth—he has to quit the X-Men. Kurt has realized that the X-Men just don’t need him anymore. He hasn’t been operating at his highest levels and even the biggest strength he has—teleportation—has been made redundant by Pixie who can do it better and more efficiently. Don’t miss the departure of one of the most important characters in X-Men history.
Fans of Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men, however, will be disappointed to hear confirmation of the popular rumor/fact that both books are being canceled. “Following issue #60 of Ultimate Fantastic Four and issue #100 of Ultimate X-Men, I believe those books will go dark. After that we’re reformulating our plans in light of Ultimatum. As to what happens to UFF and UXM, we have some thoughts, but nothing I’d like to mention just yet.
We now pause to bring you a video. I was recently pointed to this video by Steven, a visitor to BAMF! It has to do with the dimension Kurt passes through as he teleports. Enjoy!
I’m looking for Nightcrawler images to add to the gallery. If anyone is interested in helping, please feel free to upload whatever Nightcrawler images you have, or that you come across, to the gallery. I’m pretty sure my other site, Comic Candy, has some Nighty images that I haven’t uploaded here. If anyone wants to help out and snag those, and then upload them here. That would be awesome!
I’ve made some changes here at BAMF! Most notable - there are no forums anymore. I came to a decision to remove them based on lack of use, and amount of spam received. They were doing nothing on this site but drawing in spam-bots, and I simply could not keep up with them anymore.
I have worked a bit on the navigation to your left, updating links to new pages and etc.
I have also reordered the image gallery, and sorted most of the images to their (new) appropriate galleries. A few remain to be sorted, and I will get to them in due time.
Please direct any and all complaints or etc to the comments of this post. Sorry, but any direct emails to me related to this subject will go unanswered.
Thank you for your continued visitation and support of BAMF!
The forums are currently experiencing layout issues. I’m tired and my head hurts, so they might look a little weird for the next couple days until I get a chance to work on them.
The forums still function correctly, they just look like crap.
Here is a character sketch from an upcoming Nightcrawler project (I can’t quite remember if it is set to be an anime or a manga though, anyone?). Click on the thumbnail for a larger view.
I recently moved BAMF! to a new server. As usual, there are now some bugs I have to work out.
I am plugging away at them as fast as I can, and apologize for any problems that may arise for you, the visitor.
If you happen across a bug of any sort (missing image, error code, something just not working correctly, etc), please alert me using the thread I have created in the forum.
If you are not a member of the forum, and do not wish to register, you can always contact me via email (see link to your left).
Thanks for visiting, and I hope to have all problems resolved as soon as possible.
All known errors have now been fixed. Due to some problems during upgrading the gallery, all members were lost, please register (gallery only) again to be able to upload images.
Again - users for the gallery were lost. This is a GALLERY specific loss. If you registered at the forum, your account is still there, if you joined the fanlisting, your info is still there. OK?
